1How do I start my first video chat?

Hit start on the home page, or jump straight to the matching queue. Grant camera and microphone when the browser prompts, and the room appears the moment a match is found — seconds, not minutes. Nothing forces you to register first. Feel like warming up? Keep the camera off until you are comfortable, then switch it on mid-chat.

2Why does WhoApp need my camera and mic?

Face-to-face conversation is the product — with cameras off on both ends there is nothing to offer. The prompt you see belongs to your browser, and your browser stays in control: permission can be revoked any time via the padlock icon beside the address bar, and WhoApp will patiently wait until it is granted again.

3Camera or mic dead — what now?

Go down this checklist; it resolves almost everything:

  • Click the padlock beside the address bar and confirm both permissions say allow
  • Quit anything else that could be hogging the camera — video-conferencing tools are the usual suspects
  • With multiple cameras or mics attached, verify the browser chose the intended ones
  • Refresh the page; if that fails, a different browser tells you where the problem sits

Most of the time, step one is the entire repair.

4What exactly do skip, block and report do?

Skip ends the current room and brings in someone new — use it freely, nobody is owed an explanation. Block guarantees you two never get matched again. Report hands the session to human moderators; keep it for real breaches of the community guidelines, not for boring chat. All three buttons remain visible for the whole call.

5How do coins work?

Coins are WhoApp’s internal balance. Your first matches come free; coins take over when you want a good conversation to continue beyond the free portion. Every bundle shows its price before you commit, so costs never sneak up on you. Coins are not cash — no withdrawals, no transfers, no spending them anywhere else. The terms of service have the formal version.

6Is WhoApp actually free?

Free to start, yes — opening matches cost nothing and the first room sits in front of any payment. Staying longer is a choice you make with coins. Where free ends and paid begins is always marked in advance; nothing bills you by surprise.

7Is an account required?

Not at all — guest matching works instantly, which is half the reason the site exists. Registering only becomes useful when you want one coin balance and one set of preferences across all your devices. Meeting people never depends on it.

8Who can watch my calls?

Just the other person in the room — rooms hold exactly two, with no audience, no observers, no comment feed. We do not record or retain call audio or video. All the same, volunteer nothing identifying on camera — surname, address, workplace stay with you. The privacy policy covers the data side end to end.

9How do I delete my WhoApp account?

Account holders find deletion in settings; alternatively, mail [email protected] from the registered address and we take care of it. Deleting erases the profile and any coins left on it — per the terms, coins do not come back. A minimal set of security logs survives briefly for legal and anti-abuse reasons, then is destroyed.

10Still need a hand?

Mail [email protected]: describe what happened, name your device and browser, attach a screenshot if you have one. The contact page explains it all — expect a personal answer within 48 hours.
